SNAP and School Meal Benefits

As you know, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits ended Saturday, November 1, and per the USDA, it will be midweek before a partial funding for SNAP will resume.

  • Funding for our district's school meals will continue despite cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

  • All students directly certified with SNAP will continue to get breakfast and lunch meals daily from their school cafeteria at no cost.

  • Households not already directly certified through SNAP or Medicaid, are encouraged to apply for free and reduced price meals, if needed.
