Seniors....Check your student email regarding the Senior Shirt Order! Orders are must be placed by Friday, Sept. 27.
Jeremy Westbrook has been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation , which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior. About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
Those being named Commended Student have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success, commented a spokesperson for NMSC. These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success.

Important Reminder Regarding the Free & Reduced Meal Program
The carryover in benefits from last year’s Free & Reduced Meal Program will end September 13, 2024. After this date the student will return to full pay status unless a new application is submitted to re-establish the student's eligibility before the end of the carryover period.
For households that meet the income requirements we encourage you to submit a new free and reduced application now.

Congratulations to 31 of our PHS Seniors who received certificates for being recognized as a Class of 2025 Georgia Certificate of Merit Student. Based on their rank at the end of the Fall 2024 semester, these students ranked in the top 10% of their class joining an elite group of nearly 12,500 students in the state of Georgia who received this state award at the end of the 23-24 school year. We are so incredibly proud of each of you!
