Cristy Jacobs

Hello Harmony Eagles! My name is Ms. Jacobs. I am so excited to continue teaching at Harmony Elementary School and to get to know you more this year!

I would love to tell you more about me. I always wanted to be a teacher from the time I was a little girl when I would play "school" with my sister. :-) I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Master's degree in Special Education. I started my teaching career in Cherokee County and have been teaching in Pickens County since 2015. I love teaching in the community that I live in!

I have three awesome kids; Olivia, Julian, Mason, and a son-in-law, Taylor, that is married to Olivia. Olivia teaches 3rd Grade at Hill City Elementary. Julian is getting married to his fiance Leah this year and will be moving away from Georgia soon to continue his missionary work. Mason is a Junior in High School and is excited to graduate in the near future. I also have a big German Shepherd Dog named Sam and an orange cat named Zoomie.

I love to drink coffee, read books, sing, garden, hike nature trails, visit with my friends, and watch a good Netflix series. Most of all, I love to teach!! I cannot wait to be a part of your learning and have a blast this school year!
